Photo Friday – Colors of Autumn

 

 

 

 I have lots of photos to put in this week’s theme……Colorado has such wonderful colors of autumn.  (Unlike California, where I was originally from!) 

 

 

These photos were taken on a trip I took about a year ago to Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  The trip was over Highway 160 from Walsenberg, Colorado, West to Pagosa Springs….incredible drive.   I was told that the Autumn colors would all be gone (the trip was in November, I believe) but fortunately for me and my camera, the colors were still there… the aspens are just amazing….in brilliant yellows, oranges and rusts!  It was an amazing weekend and being able to capture parts of it on camera are a plus.  I have been told not to worry so much about always capturing everything on “film”, but to me, it’s my memory (in case my real brain burns out!)…..something about the printed memories triggers an area in me……I am learning to not be sooooo absorbed in the camera, and focus more on just enjoying the moment, though!  (Hey it’s who I am…sorry!)
