Today’s Photo Friday entry is entitled: Black and White © Jan Marshall
Well, this photo was taken recently at the Cripple Creek Ice Festival on February 10, 2008. This was originally taken in color, but I brought it home, and my daughter, Corinna, who is very handy dandy on the computer showed me how to turn it into a black & white…this was my intent, even before I knew about this photo friday so, of course, it was the first thing that popped into my head for an entry.

Hi Julie,
Wow! This is a fabulous photo! I clicked on it to get the larger view – which does it more justice. A very worthy entry, thanks.

Nicely done! I remember when you took the shot that you wanted to turn it into a B&W. Who knew you’d have a forum in which to share it!
Mine’s up!

What an amazing photo… the B & W makes it look like it is not even ice, but free flowing water. Lovely!
